Killorglin Community College has been involved in the Green Schools Programme for many years. We have achieved great success due to the dedication of the Green Schools committee and the staff involved in overseeing it. The school has achieved four Green Flags to date on Litter/Waste, Water, Electricity, Travel and we are currently working on our fifth theme of Biodiversity. Our involvement in the Green School Programme is making our school more sustainable and helping to reduce our carbon footprint. Green Schools is integrated into the fabric of the school through teaching and learning, through its facilities and through the actions of students and staff.
