The KCC Variety Show has become a much-loved annual tradition, shining a spotlight on the remarkable talents of our students across all year groups. Far more than just a performance, the show is a joyful, empowering experience that brings our entire school community together in celebration.
A Whole-School Celebration
One of the most special things about the Variety Show is the wide range of students who take part. From First Year to Sixth Year, performers, musicians, dancers, actors, comedians, and crew members work side by side. Whether centre stage or behind the scenes, every student involved plays a valuable role in making the show a success.
This event showcases the diversity of student voice and talent in our school — and offers a platform for students who might not otherwise get the chance to shine.
Growth Beyond the Stage
The skills developed through the Variety Show go far beyond performance. Students learn to:
- Build confidence in themselves and their abilities
- Work as a team, supporting one another and celebrating each other's strengths
- Manage time and responsibilities during rehearsals and production
- Develop creativity, resilience, and leadership skills
- Recognise their own potential and take pride in personal achievements

From Debut to Tradition
The first KCC Variety Show was a sell-out success. Due to overwhelming enthusiasm from both performers and the community, we expanded the next year to a two-night run — with even more students involved and even more magical moments created.
We’re proud to say that the Variety Show is now a permanent feature of our school calendar, taking place every December and growing stronger each year.
